Zamp Pest Control — 07 4463 8976
You’ve seen them more than once now — in the kitchen at night, along a skirting board, or in a web by the back door — and spraying a can at them hasn’t fixed it. This is residential pest control for houses in Alligator Creek and across the Townsville region, for the pests that come back: cockroaches, ants, spiders, wasps, silverfish, rats and mice. If you’ve got kids or pets in the house and that’s part of why you’ve put it off, this is the page you want.
Do we come to Alligator Creek? Yes — we service Alligator Creek, homes right across the suburb.
Pest Control in Alligator Creek
A treated home you can go on living in normally. We treat the places pests actually travel and breed — entry points, cracks and voids, roof and subfloor access, around the perimeter — rather than just the spots where you happened to see one. The products we use are chosen to be safe around families and pets once applied as directed, and we’ll tell you plainly what to do and how long to wait before letting the dog back in or putting the kids’ things away.
You also get the knowledge to stop it recurring. Most pest problems inside a house are being fed by something: a gap, a moisture source, a bin, a woodpile. When we’re done you’ll know what’s drawing them in and what to change, which is usually the difference between one treatment and a standing problem. For households that would rather not think about it at all, there’s an annual treatment that keeps the house covered year to year.
How it works
Start with a free quote. Tell us what you’re seeing, where, and roughly how long it’s been going on, and you’ll get a price before you commit to anything — you can book online once you’re happy with it.
Once booked, you’ll get a confirmation email with pre-treatment advice, so you know what to move, cover or put away before we arrive. The day before, we send an SMS reminder. On the day we turn up when we said we would, carry out the treatment, and go through post-treatment advice with you — what to expect over the next few days, what’s normal, what to leave alone. You pay then, by EFTPOS. About a week later we email to check how it’s going, because a week is long enough to tell whether the problem has actually stopped.
What it costs
The quote is free and the price is given upfront, before you book. What moves it is the size of the house, which pests are involved and how far the problem has spread — a single ant trail is not a roof full of rodents, and we’d rather tell you which one you’ve got than quote a vague range. Payment is on the day, by EFTPOS, once the work is done.
Getting started
Request a free quote or book online — it takes a couple of minutes, and you’ll have a price before you’re asked to commit to anything. We’re a locally owned business working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, so if you’d rather talk it through first, call during those hours and describe what you’re seeing. Either way, the next thing that happens is a confirmation email telling you exactly how to prepare.
Common questions
Do you cover Alligator Creek?
Yes. We’re based in Townsville and service Alligator Creek along with the surrounding suburbs and outlying areas.
Is the treatment safe around children and pets?
It’s a core part of how we work. We use products and methods chosen to be safe for families and pets when applied as directed, and we’ll tell you on the day exactly how long to keep pets and children off treated areas.
What do I need to do before you arrive?
You’ll get a confirmation email with pre-treatment advice when you book, covering what to move, cover or put away. You don’t need to guess — everything you need to do is in that email, and we send an SMS reminder the day before.
How do I pay, and do I pay anything upfront?
You pay on the day of the treatment by EFTPOS. The quote itself is free and the price is confirmed upfront before you book.
